I can't believe that 20 years have already gone by!!! I just
attended the Los Alamos High School Graduation 2007, and I really felt
old, oh well! Time flies when you are having fun!
After graduation, I worked for Hewlett Packard for about a year in
Los Alamos, then I was hired at the Laboratory in 1988. I went to the
University of Phoenix (Los Alamos campus) and received my Bachelors
Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Environmental
Management in 1997. I am still working at the Lab as a Waste Management
Specialist. We moved to Rio Rancho in Dec. 1997, and commuted to Los
Alamos for 6 years. The commute got old, and we moved back to Los
Alamos in 2003. I am very happy living back here, especially with the
price of gas these days. I also have been waiting tables at DeColores
since 1991, I just can?t seem to give it up, the money is great and the
work is easy.
I was married shortly before our 10 year reunion, and I am still
happily married to Richard. Richard also works for laboratory, and
plays in a band (Last Call). They rock! My friends and I enjoy going
out when he plays, and we dance all night long. I have no children yet,
just 2 dogs, (Jack & Jazmyn). I still hang out with Sherrye Lovato
(Roybal) and Sue Cummings (Crismon). I play Poker-Keno once a month,
with some of the ladies from our class of 1987, and I just love it. I
am not sure if I can attend all the reunion functions, but I hope to
attend some of them, and look forward to seeing you all.
