Sullivan Field is undergoing a major renovation. A new 7 lane, green and
gold, Mondo track surface is being installed as well as complete state
of the art lighting. In addition, a beautiful brick sidewalk will be
installed from the ticket booth to the home bleachers. You can have a
personalized brick added to this walkway.

It's interesting to see where people have ended up over the years.
That's what makes reunions fun. I won't be going to this reunion but
here's what I've been up.
After high school, I attended NMSU where I graduated with a marketing
degree in 1992. Given that marketing majors typically get awesome jobs
after college, I had a choice between Toys-R-Us and Sherwin-Williams.
Painting is kind of fun so I picked Sherwin-Williams and worked there
for a few years. I married my wife Juli in 1994 and had an instant
family since she had a daughter from a previous relationship. We lived
in Artesia for a while but decided to make some life changes so we moved
back to Las Cruces where I went back to school for a more technical
degree in Business Computer Systems.
In 1997, I took a job with MCI in Plano, TX. I worked on the Y2K
project for years and left that company when Worldcom took over in 2000.
I did consulting for a short time and then took a job with XO
Communications in 2001. I'm currently serving as an applications
architect with XO, but really I just do project management and web
development.
Juli and I were fortunate enough to have a baby in October of 2005. So
now we have a 17 month old son (Joshua Evan) and a 17 year old daughter
(Ashlynn Courney). Ashlynn is a cheerleader at Garland High School and
plays on their varsity soccer team. Josh is very mobile but can't
really talk yet, although he is fluent in gibberish. He does know some
sign language like thank you, more, eat, drink, and please. Juli used
to work full time for a gourmet food broker but since Josh came along,
she now only works a few hours a week.
I'm hoping to move our family back west after Ashlynn leaves for
college. The Dallas area has been very good to us and the cost of
living is agreeable, but I miss the outdoors. Besides, as we get older,
family gets more and more important and we would like to live closer to
our relatives. Nobody wants to visit us in Texas anyway.
Other than working and attending the activities that our kids are
involved in, we are very active in our church. I enjoy it and feel
blessed that things turned out the way they did.
So that's it for now, if you're ever out this way (maybe some of you
even live near here, I don't know) feel free to visit. Don't come in
the summer though Ð it gets too hot and humid.
