Sullivan Field is undergoing a major renovation. A new 7 lane, green and
gold, Mondo track surface is being installed as well as complete state
of the art lighting. In addition, a beautiful brick sidewalk will be
installed from the ticket booth to the home bleachers. You can have a

Personally, I refuse to be as old as the rest of you ... looking
through some of the pictures I've realized that only being at LAHS
for 3 semesters has affected my memory. I don't recognize very many
- but since this is the school i graduated from ...
I left high school and went off to Ricks College in the exciting
state of Idaho. I danced and sang my way through school and even
went to class long enough to graduate with an associates degree in
"would you like fries with that?" I married Tom Parkinson (LAHS '85)
in 1990 and worked a little until he graduated. our children - Alec
(15) and Megan (14) were born while living in los alamos waiting for
a 'real' job. we then spent 3 years in albuquerque where carly (12)
joined our family. 10 years ago we moved to allen, texas and sarah
(8) and jacob (3) were born.
I was surprised by how much I have enjoyed texas. I miss mountains
and weather, but the community here is similar to los alamos with the
added benefits of restaurants and sports teams. i'm very involved in
music as a vocal coach, piano teacher, organist, choir director,
music arranger, and I am currently singing in a nonprofit group
called evening song (you can check them out on the web at
eveningsong.com).
We visit los alamos at least twice a year - at christmas and the 4th
of july. 6 of my younger siblings have graduated from LAHS and my
youngest sister will be a junior next year.
My life is good - and with such brilliant and talented children - I
feel blessed.
I don't think i can make it to the reunion, but that's all right -
all you need to remember is the 'little red-headed girl.'
