Sullivan Field is undergoing a major renovation. A new 7 lane, green and
gold, Mondo track surface is being installed as well as complete state
of the art lighting. In addition, a beautiful brick sidewalk will be
installed from the ticket booth to the home bleachers. You can have a
personalized brick added to this walkway.

I went to our class reunion website for the first time in March 2007
even though I had been getting updates for months (faithfully emailed by
Susan) about all of the plans for the 20 year reunion. I loved reading
all of the updates that people submitted and learning how their lives
turned out so far.
I agree with all of the bios that start along the lines of "I cannot
believe it has been 20 years." The funny part of that for me is I can
remember making a car trip as a child for my mom to attend her 20 year
reunion in New York and I distinctly remember thinking how old all of
those people must be to have been out of high school for 20 years. I
don't really feel that old now that it is me going to a twenty year
reunion!
College: I left Los Alamos in the fall of 1987 to go to Omaha, NE to
start college... at the time it was far away, a new beginning, and I had
no idea how cold it would be. I lasted until March when I talked to
Connie Smith from our class who was at Arizona State. The conversation
went something like this...Connie: "It's 100 degrees here and we are
going to the zoo" Jennifer: "It is 10 below zero here, I am studying
biology and I am so transferring in the fall!" Five universities later
I graduate - yes - that would be six universities attended to get one
undergraduate degree in education.
Jobs: After finishing my master's degree at Florida State University
my criteria for a job became anything that was east of California and
west of Texas. I ended up coming home for a great ski season
(1993-1994), interning at LANL for six months, and starting at Motorola
in Phoenix in the summer. I worked at Motorola in various jobs for four
years. For the next ten years, I was part owner in a consulting company
doing work for high tech corporations in AZ, TX, and NM and doing some
consulting for LANL and living in Los Alamos. Since May I have been
working a long term contract at LANL helping projects establish training
plans and qualification procedures.
Personal: I got married in 1994 and had a boy, Tanner, in August
1996 and girl, Mackenzie, January 1999. By November 1999 I was starting
a new life as a single mom after a divorce that was incredibly long,
painful and expensive! On my one and only blind date at age 32 I met Jay
Elson. We have been together ever since and after dating for six years
we got married in May. He is fantastic and as you can see from the
photos below we are kind of like the brady bunch...us, and the four
kids. I have had a very good life for the last twenty years. I have
healthy, happy children, a good career, great friends, a great guy and
adventures. I look forward to catching up with everyone at the reunion.
